She doesn’t have to settle on one medium to express herself. She can use beads to create highly textured, three-dimension works or apply beads to embellish pieces into decorative pieces.
Maria Laura’s work reflects themes of feminine power, nature, and spiritual symbols. She thinks that art should lift our spirits and speed our souls.
All her pieces sparkle and shine and are made from thousands of colorful glass beads which she places by hand and glued down. After the artwork is finished, the piece is secured with a protective finish coat.
