The palm trunks are constructed through individually placed beads that follow their natural curves and vertical grooves. Above them, layered fronds extend across the composition in shifting shades of green, catching and reflecting light as the viewing angle changes.
Along the shore, white beadwork shapes the movement of waves breaking against the sand. A starfish and sea turtle appear as small discoveries within the landscape, while birds move across the graduated sky and draw the eye toward the open horizon.
