In Connected, a metal tree rises from the wooden surface in sculptural relief, its branches carrying a collection of intricate circular compositions. Each one contains its own arrangement of color, texture, beads, and symbolic details, creating the impression of many individual worlds held within a shared structure.
Glass beads, metal elements, and charms introduce different levels of depth and reflection throughout the work. As the viewer moves, light reveals new details within each circle and emphasizes the physical relationship between the tree, its branches, and the wooden background.
The work considers belonging without sameness. Each element retains its individuality, yet its connection to the others gives the composition its richness and strength. Connected reflects the idea that difference does not disrupt unity—it is what makes unity meaningful.
